Welcome to our Training Facility and the Home of Cayley, Katie, and Ryley-Ray Wilson. Here at CWPH, we integrate training, nutrition, proper farrier work, veterinary services, dental, chiropractic, and general care into our program.
An Olympian cannot achieve their goals without proper care and maintenance of their bodies, and we feel the same is true with our horses. These powerful creatures are athletes, and if we are mindful of that, we can keep a healthy balanced horse which is essential for the industry we are in.
Cayley's training emphasizes a strong two year old program which progresses them into their aged event years. We start colts as early two year olds and they're first training experiences are tremendously important. If they have a strong foundation from day one, then you spend less time fixing any bad habits they may have learned along the way. Cayley feels they step up with more ease having only been taught what he is asking of them. "You have to walk before you can run", and by using this method of training we find it builds the most confidence and consistency for a solid, finished horse.
Our facility is made up of 30 box stalls and an additional 17 outside turnout pens, Three 36x36 Stud pens, 2 grass turn out paddocks, Indoor arena, round pen, wash rack and hot walker. We maintain buffalo and cattle throughout the year for training purposes, and use the flag regularly to maintain proper body position on a cow.
CWPH has Tuesday night lessons at Ralph and Sonja Anderlini's for flag and cow lessons.
CWPH has standing drop in lessons at the farm every Wednesday evening at 6PM.
At CWPH, we believe in our horses and want to Thank You for believing in our program!
